Details
BOLINGBROKE off BACK LANE TF 36 SE (west side) 5/26 Un-named cottage adjacent to The Cottage II Cottage. Late C18, refronted and underbuilt C19. Originally mud and stud, with red and colourwashed brickwork, slate roof, large tall ridge stack. Lobby entry plan. On the front the mud walling survives above plinth level. Single storey plus garret, 3 bay front with central door flanked by single glazing bar sashes with segmental heads. To the rear a lean-to catslide service range with 2 light sliding sash and planked door. 'The. Cottage' referred to in the address is not a listed building.
