2 shops with accommodation above. 1697, mid C18, early C19, mid C19, C20. Colourwashed and rendered red brick front, red brick return walls. Slate roof with wooden bracketed eaves, single ridge and 2 gable stacks, coped gables no longer extant. 2 storeys and attic, 4 bay front with first and second floor bands on return walls. No.14 to left with C18 shop front with bowed window with flanking pilasters and small glazing bars, doorway to left with pilastered doorcase, overlight and partially glazed door, and continuous moulded, bracketed entablature above. No.12 to right with early C19 shop front of 5 bays with central, deep set doorway with overlight and double partially glazed doors, and outer semi-circular headed opening. Doorway flanked by single rectangular bay windows each with outer pilasters and 2 lights with semi-circular heads. Small stone re-set above inscribed "John L 1697". 4 plain sashes above, all with mid C19 moulded architraves. 3 flat headed dormers above with sliding sashes. North return wall with small late C17 blind opening with semi- circular head to right and a narrow C20 fixed window with wooden lintel to left. 2 C17 small, blind openings above with segmental heads and 2 more small rectangular blind openings above at garret level.
