TF 07 NW NETTLEHAM HIGH STREET (north side)
5/48 The Cottage
G.V. II
House. Late C17 with minor C18 and C20 alterations. Coursed squared limestone rubble with pantile roof and 2 brick gable and single ridge stacks. Formerly lobby entry. One and a half storey front with brick dentillated eaves course, and 4 window bays consisting of glazing bar sashes with timber lintels, the second from left being narrower and in the blocking of a former doorway. To first floor are 3 irregularly placed narrow casements. The C20 entrance is in the right hand gable end under a gabled hood.
