The Old Manor House

(Formerly listed as House to north-east of Wansbeck House, CHAPEL GATE)

House. Late C18. Red brick with ashlar quoins. Slate roof. Two gable stacks. Brick coped gables. Scalloped wooden eaves. Set on a chamfered ashlar and brick plinth. First and second floor bands. T-plan. Two and a half storeys, three bays. Central doorway with panelled door, overlight, reveal, pilastered surround, entablature, and cornice. Either side are single narrow lights, further right and left are single glazed double doors under segmental arches. Above are three plain sashes with three similar smaller sashes on the top floor, all under segmental arches. Wansbeck House is not included in this list.
