1562-73, much altered and reconstructed. Red brick with stone dressings. Two oriels
at west end. Louvre to roof. Interior has richly carved hammer-beam roof and screen. C16 and C17 stained glass. Basement, at ground level on south side. Entrance tower and additions to east and south date from first half of C19: two and three storeys, Tudor Gothic style: yellow brick with stone dressings and slated roof.
Former Scheduled Ancient Monument.
