1899. Red brick with brown tiled bands and tiled corners to shoulder height. Pink and grey banded tiled surrounds to third floor windows. Mansard slate roof. Four storeys and dormers, sashes with glazing bars throughout, end and centre windows ground floor round arches, rest segmental arches. Eighteen bays. Ends, of two bays, and centre four bays advanced under stone coped gables with elaborate kneelers and pedimented feature as finial. First to third floor windows oriels with stuccoed base and stucco cornice above. Recessed five bay portions have heavy brick eaves modillion cornice with pilasters extending down to second floor sill height. Round brick arches above windows, blue brick ledge below recessed third floor windows
The Boundary Estate is an early LCC estate of advanced design for its period. It contains a variety of architectural details and its streets radiate from a central raised park in Arnold Circus. The entire estate forms a group.
