COLDHARBOUR E14 1. 4431 TQ 3880 26/873 River Police Station. II The address shall be amended to read:- COLDHARBOUR E14 Blackwall River Police Station. The description shall be amended to read as follows:- 2. 1894. Architect John Butler, not surprisingly a Norman Shaw influenced design. Built on river wall with slipway for boats underneath. Red brick with white stone bands, parapet with central coped gable. Four storeys, 4 bays. Windows 2 and 3 light with stone mullions and 2 central bays for lookout over the river. Probably the first River Police Station built as such.
