1899. Red brick, glazed ground floor with stuccoed string course above. Slate roof with bracketed eaves cornice. Four storeys with additional storey under gable. Three windows, each window bay above ground floor set in banded red and orange brickwork. Similar banding in gable which is separated from third floor by red brick cornice, frieze and entablature. Windows red brick arches, except those in gable end, centre round orange brick tympanum, side windows have flat arches. Ground floor windows with stuccoed mullions and surrounds. Central doorway with bracketed pediment above. Rear corner canted.
The Boundary Estate is an early LCC estate of advanced design for its period. It contains a variety of architectural details and its streets radiate from a central raised park in Arnold Circus. The entire estate forms a group.
