2. Early C19 long 2-storey range approximately 11 bays wide but many windows altered and enlarged. Three-bay projecting ends. Parapeted brown brick front set back behind high wall with Greek Doric stone porte-cochere. High brick garden walls. Garden front is 2 storeys: slightly recessed centre with 4 widely-spaced windows and 2 flanking wings. Cambridge Cottage was the home of the Duke of Cambridge 1840-1904.
