Mid-18th Century with early 19th Century remodelling of ground floor. Pair of
houses of basement, 2-storeys and dormers, each symmetrical and 5 windows wide
on first floor.
Stock brick with stone dressings and slate gambrel roof. No 31 now painted.
Ground-floor tripartite window with delicate acanthus pilasters, frieze and dentil
cornice. First floor window similar but with gauged cambered arch above and fan
motif in spandrel (removed from No 35).
Stone coping to the parapet. Flat-headed dormer.
Stacks with oversailing courses.
