II
Circa 1810-20. Double fronted villa in Gothic style. Three-storeys with two-storey entrance front and extension on north side. Three windows with one window extension. Stuccoed brick turretted corners, some used as chimneys. Mostly battlemented parapets with central, pierced decoration. Square-headed, architraved windows of two lights each with hood mould, some lights with pointed arches. Return on south side with splayed bay windows to ground and first floor. Battlemented, projecting entrance portico with corner buttresses and doorway with pointed, moulded arch. Charles Bravo died under mysterious circumstances in the house in 1876, resulting in a famous 19th Century murder trial.
