WEST STREET 1. 4430 (West Side) CARSHALTON Boundary Wall to Carshalton House TQ 2764 SE 20/158 II GV 2. Late C17 to C18. Wall of red brick with red brick plinth with battered coping. To south of No 3 West Street, a blocked gateway. To south of Water Pavilion a renewed or modern brick gateway with segmental brick arch and pilasters. A section of wall here with 2 plinths. Towards corner with Pound Street a section of renewed walling which continues round south-west corner to a point opposite No 43 Pound Street. From here south-westwards as far as gates a section of original walling. For fuller description see under Pound Street, North-West Side.
The Water Pavilion at Carshalton House and boundary wall to Carshalton House in West Street form a group with Nos 3 to 11 (odd) and No 15 West Street with Nos 2 to 12 and 18 to 24 (even) West Street and with The Old Rectory, Festival Walk.
