KINGS CLIFFE WEST STREET TL0097 (South side) 12/166 Dovecote approx. 35m SE of The 23/05/67 Manor House (Formerly listed as Dovecote and Cockpit at Manor House) GV II Dovecote. Late C18. Squared coursed limestone with slate roof. Circular plan. C19/C20 doorway with part-glazed door under wood lintel. Smaller original doorway. 2 C19/C20 arch-head casement windows. Shallow conical roof with glazed cupola. Interior: about 670 nesting boxes formed using clay tiles. (RCHM: An Inventory of Architectural Monuments in North Northamptonshire: p106)
