TQ 2881 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER WELBECK STREET, Wl 55/19 (west side) No. 54 G.V. II Terraced town house. Dated 1896. Buff terracotta faced; slate roof. Free Style "Jacobethan". 4 storeys and basement. 3 windows wide but with broad canted bay to centre-right on ground and 1st floors. Recessed archivolt arched porch to left under console bracketed cornice hood as balcony to 1st floor left hand window. 1:3:1 mullioned lights to canted bay which is finished with swept parapet. Upper floors have central 3 light window flanked by single lights on 2nd floor and flanking oeil-de-boeuf on 3rd floor; articulated by shallow, banded pilasters: strapwork and grotesque ornament to 3rd floor apron panels. Shaped pediment-gable over centre bay flanked by obelisk finials.
