TQ 2681 NW CITY OF WESTMINSTER WARWICK AVENUE, W9 40/12 (north-east side) Nos 24 and 26 including front garden walls and gateways. GV II Pair of houses and front garden walls and gateways. Mid C19. Brick, stuccoed with channelled ground floor and side bays, ground floor of side bays vermiculated. Welsh slate roof. 3 storeys and basement, 6 bays arranged 1:4:1. Projecting side bays contain entrances approached by steps, balustraded to No 24. Door with overlight under flat channelled arch in pilaster surround. Canted bay to No 26. Sash windows (except casements to 1st floor of No 24) with sills to ground floor and flat channelled arches with keystones, cornices on consoles to 1st floor windows. First floor cornice. 2nd floor sill band. Cornice with modillions to outer bays. Stucco balustraded garden wall and gatepiers with lintels to each house.
