TQ 2880 NE CITY OF WESTMINSTER GROSVENOR STREET W1 69/83 (south side) 14.1.70 No 50 GV II Terrace house. 1724 with some early C19 alterations. Painted brick, slate roof. Four storeys, basement, mansard with dormers. Giant pilasters to left and right of 4 window front. Enclosed 1907 Ionic columned porch to left with curved sides. Revealed sashes under flat gauged arches, those on third floor with original glazing bars. First floor geometric cast iron continuous balcony. Plat bands to first and second floors and main cornice at third floor level, parapet with coping. Area railings with urn finials. Survey of London Vol XL.
