Details
TQ 2981 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER GREEK STREET, W1 58/49 11.8.78 No. 14 - II Terrace house. Late C17; stuccoed and possibly refronted early to mid C19 and top floor also added. Stucco with probably early C19 tile facing to ground floor. Concealed roof. 4 storeys. 2 windows wide. The tile faced ground floor has flanking doorways and blind segmental archway across order of composite piers and pilasters. Upper floors have recessed sashes with pediments over on 1st floor. Sill courses and parapet with balustrade overall. Interior retains original late C17 dog leg staircase, heavy moulded closed strings and stout turned balusters, bottom newel a larger version of balusters, other newels square, bolection panelled dado etc. Survey of London; Vol. XXXIII.
