Block of terraced houses, forming three-sided composition. Circa 1900. Queen
Anne style. Red brick, Portland stone dressings. Steeply pitched tiled roof.
Nos 2 to 7 of 4 storeys, attic in gable and basement. Each house 3 windows
wide. No 1 of 2 storeys, attic and basement with one main bay to Ebury Street
and 2 bays to Lygon Place. No 8 of 4 bays to Ebury Street and 2 wide bays to
Lygon Place. Nos 2 to 7 with square headed entrances; 2 storey Portland stone
canted bays to ground and first floor; segmental headed sashed windows, flush
frames, glazing bars. Stone cornice with very large modillions above third
floor; gabled attics, tall chimneys. Nos 1 and 8 similar treatment with canted
bays to Ebury Street; both have large stone gable porches to Lygon Place; No 1
has mullioned and transomed windows. Wrought iron area railings of original
design.
