Terrace house. c. 1750-70. Brown brick, slate roof. 3 storeys with 4th attic storey behind parapet, and basement. 3 windows wide. Entrance to left with Ionic columned doorcase, pulvinated frieze and bracketed cornice. Revealed sash windows, no glazing bars, under flat gauged arches. 1st floor stone plat band and sill band; bracketed stone cornice over 2nd floor, parapet with coping. Wrought iron area railings and scrollwork lampholders. Interior has had alter- ations but retains top lit stone staircase with wrought iron balustrade, 1st floor drawing room with late C18 plasterwork ceiling and carved marble chimney piece, late C18 (?) pier glasses between windows, rear room with similar, rose garland details to ceiling; ground floor front room with shallow c. 1800 pattern to ceiling plasterwork; 2nd floor front has west room panelled with fluted Corinthian pilasters flanking chimney breast, enriched cornice, probably reset work, etc.
