Former Barn to Bradshaw Hall Farm

Former barn converted into residential use. C17 and C19. Timber frame with stone walls and stone slate roof. Rectangular full-aisled barn with domestic accommodation at one end. Walls of coursed squared rubble with dressed quoins and window surrounds. This appears to be C19. Some openings without dressings including main barn doors. Two ridge stacks of brick at one end of roof.
Interior. Four-bay aisled barn with posts, main purlins, ties and diagonal struts of large scantling. Principal rafters, queen struts, two further tiers of purlins, collar beams and windbraces. All this apparently C17.
