SOUTH TURTON DARWEN ROAD SD 71 SW (south west side) Dunscar
5/72 Dunscar House 26/2/76 G.V. II
House. c.1830. Stone with hipped slate roofs. 2 storeys, 5 bays, the last 2 bays recessed under separate roof, with extruded corner. 1st 3 bays have 1st floor sill band and top cornice. Windows are sashed with glazing bars. Elliptical-headed entrance to 2nd bay has Ionic doorcase and porch. End bay has loggia recessed behind 2 round arches. Extruded corner has round-headed window to return and small casement to front. 2 central stacks.
