Farmhouse and cottage. Early C19. Hammer-dressed watershot
stone with graduated stone slate roof. Double-depth central-
entrance plan (the cottage entered through the gable) with 2
storeys. Quoins. Central door with dressed surround flanked
by 6-light mullion windows. 4-light (with 2 mullions
removed) basement level window to left and 10-light first
floor workshop window. All windows have recessed flat-faced
stone mullions and king mullions. Coped gables with kneelers
and gable chimney stacks. Lean-to porch to left and rear. 2,
3, 4, 6 and 9-light windows to gables and rear, one of which
is blocked. Blocked taking-in door to right gable.
