Details

WARSOP SOOKHOLME LANE SK 56 NW (north west side) 1/163 Mill Farmhouse and adjoining farm buildings and boundary wall II Farmhouse. Mid C18. Stables and barn, mid C18 and early C19. Dressed stone with pantile roofs, some glazed, with stone slate verges. Ashlar reveals and dressings. Coped gables with kneelers. 3 gable and 2 ridge stacks. Single and 2 storeys. House, L-plan. Buildings arranged round 3 sides of yard. 7 bays wide by 3 bays deep. Windows are mullioned leaded casements and C20 casements. House has to south, 3 casements on each floor, of different sizes. Outside, adjoining boundary wall, dressed stone, with half round coping. West end has C20 fenestration. Off-centre glazed door flanked to left by bow window and to right by 2 casements. Above, 3 casements, 2 with segmental heads. East gable has a casement on each floor. To right, single storey C20 link building with 2 casements and 2 glazed doors. Single storey stable has to left, C20 casement and to right, 2 pairs of garage doors. Adjoining 2 storey stable has to south, 2 doors and above, 2 hatches, all with segmental heads. Barn has to west, pair of central barn doors with elliptical head, flanked to left by round headed doorway and to right by door with segmental head. Above, to left, hatch and 4 breathers. South gable has, above, casement with segmental head. East side has 2 C19 single storey additions. Stable adjoining to west has to north, 2 stable doors and in west gable, casement. All with segmental heads.
