Canal accommodation bridge. Early-mid C19. Brindled brick with stone coping. Single span with towpath and humped back. Elliptical arch. Slightly swept wings terminating in piers at all 4 corners. Lower voussoirs are of stone. Stone keystone and stone plaque at crown on both sides, inscribed '142'. Brick string course. Minor repairs. The Trent and Mersey Canal was built between 1766 and 1777.
