6/82 House approximately 5 m south of Church of St Peter

GV II

House. Possibly C17 core, remodelled during C18. Sandstone rubble with stone slate and Welsh slate roof. Rectangular plan with probable through- passage, south gable-end stack, probably with integral stone winder staircase; lateral stack to west front. Single storey and attic. West front: two dormers with 2-light casements to right of stack, segmental-head to window with 2-light casement to right of doorway; plain canopy and ledged door, south gable end has traces of single lights to light probable staircase. Interior has traces of square panelled timber-framed internal partition and heavy beam in room to right of entrance on east front.
