Former house, now school. 1822. For William Harrison, cotton manufacturer. Ashlar with slate roof. 5-bay 2-storey central-staircase plan. Projecting plinth, first floor band Projecting plinth, first floor band and eaves cornice with blocking course. Enclosed tetrastyle Ionic porch. 4 ground floor and 5 first floor windows with iron glazing bars and ashlar sills. Hipped roof. The right side has a total of 7 bays, the fourth and fifth being advanced and having a large open pediment on giant pilasters. Interior much altered.
