1/7 Humber Farmhouse and adjoining - barn
- II Farmhouse and barn. Mid and early C18 respectively with later additions. Hammer-dressed stone (the house watershot) with graduated stone slate roof. 2-bay single-depth house with 2 storeys and barn under a continuous roof to right. Quoins and projecting plinth. Central porch wing, of slightly later date, has chamfered door surround and is flanked by a 2-light double-chamfered stone mullion window on either side on each floor. The upper floor had a window inserted in the C18, now blocked. Coped gable with kneelers. Gable and ridge chimney stacks. The barn has opposed cart entries, a shippon door to left and lean-to extension and small additional wing to gable-end and rear. An inscribed stone on the rear includes the initials IS (Isaac Smith). Rear of house has C20 porch and 2-light window as above.
