YALDING LEES ROAD TQ 6949 (North-west side) (formerly known as High Street, East- West Arm) 7/160 The Lodge and 23-5-67 The Limes GV II

House pair. Mid C18, with mid C19 first-floor fenestration. Ground floor chequered red and grey brick, first floor tile-hung. Plain tile roof. 2 storeys and attics on ragstone plinth. Moulded wooden eaves cornice. Gabled, with flush gable end stacks. Two hipped dormers with moulded cornices and two-light casements. Irregular fenestration of four fifteen- pane sashes in moulded wooden architraves. Ground floor has one twenty- pane, one four-pane and two sixteen-pane sashes. Door to The Lodge to centre of left half, with four flush panels and flat corniced hood. Half- glazed door to The Limes to centre of right half, with trellised porch with swept leaded roof. Integral rear lean-to to left. Parallel rear range to right with red and grey brick ground floor, tile-hung first floor, gabled and with valley stack. Interior not inspected.
