Left cross-wing of approximately 2 timber-framed bays, projecting forwards slightly. Cross-wing 2 storeys, main range 1½ storeys, both with semi-basement which has red brick wall forming high plinth to rest of building. Cross-wing formerly jettied to front. Underbuilt jetty to right gable end of main range. Roof of cross- wing hipped to front, with higher eaves and slightly higher ridge than main range. Main range gabled to right. Projecting brick stack to long left side of cross-wing, rear stack to left end of main range, and multiple brick ridge stack to right end. Irregular fenestration of 3 windows; one two-light casement to cross-wing, one gabled two-light through dormer with plain tile roof to left end of main range, and one single-light eyebrow eaves dormer towards centre of main range, with blocked window suggested in weatherboarding below it. Four casement windows to ground floor. Boarded door with flat bracketed hood to No. 1 to right end of front gable of cross- wing and boarded door to No. 2 to left end of main range, both reached from landing with wooden handrail, turned balusters and ragstone base, up four brick steps parallel to front wall to right of door to No. 2. Similar door to No. 3 towards right end of main range with landing reached up four steps from right. Three boarded doors to semi-basement; one to cross-wing and two towards centre of main range. Ground floor of cross-wing has chamfered cross beam, broad close-set joists, wall framing of heavy scantling, and later brick fireplace. Long shaped jowl to rear principal post of presumed right end-of-hall truss, and broadly-spaced studding to ground-floor partition under it. Right end ground-floor room has broad close-set axial joists, shutter groove under former jetty bressumer, and solid-spandrel bracket to underbuilt jetty. Mortices for axial partition towards front of bay. Front right corner post chamfered to probable former shop window cill, and post and midrail-soffit grooved for horizontally-sliding shutter. Later brick fireplace with wooden bressumer to right gable end.
