Details
YALDING HIGH STREET TQ 6950 (east side) 6/127 Interphil House (formerly listed, under High Street, 23-5-67 North Arm, as R. Coates, Grocer and Draper, with the house attached.) GV II
House. Early C19. Red brick in Flemish bond. Chequered red and grey brick at right end, continued from adjoining building to right (q.v.). Plain tile roof. Double depth. Continuous with, but at slight angle to, The Coach House (q.v.). 2 storeys and cellar, on chamfered brick plinth. Plat band. Dentilled brick eaves cornice. Roof continuous with The Coach House to left, and with adjoining building to right. Brick ridge stack towards left end. Regular 2-window front of one tripartite sash to left (with another under to ground floor) and one twelve-pane sash to right, all with cambered heads and splayed rubbed brick voussoirs. Half-glazed double doors with flat bracketed hood, up two steps, to right end. Interior not inspected.
