GV II
Stables and outhouses. C17,c.1711 and late C19. Red brick and plain tile roof, with flint and timber framed and plastered additions. A long range of several builds, the north front preserves the appearance c.1711. North front: 2 storeys on flint plinth, with pilaster strips at corners and framing central bay. Stepped gable right, 2 coped gable ends to left centre and right centre now part of continuous range, and half-hip to left. Stacks to centre and projecting to front right. Four wood casements on first floor and 1 brick mullion to right, 3 wood casements and 2 brick mullioned windows to right on ground floor, all with segmental heads, the central ground floor window in blocked basket-arched doorway. Wing to right part rebuilt C19, with 1 segment headed wood casement each floor, and connected to Sharsted Court by timber gallery and gateway. Projecting C19 flint wing to left. South front: 2 storeys, irregular fenestration. Carriage doors to end left and right, 3 boarded doors to left and right; and central late C19 projecting timber-framed gable, 2 storeys and attic, jettied at first floor with 6 light wood mullioned window, and 5 light wood mullioned ground floor oriel on brackets.
