Barn,oast kiln and attached farmbuilding.Barn probably late-018,kiln and farmbuilding C19.Group undergoing conversion to housing at time of survey(1988).Framed,weatherboarded barn,brick kiln and farmbuilding,all with peg-tile roofs.Plan:Overall L-plan.The barn is parallel to the road and set back from it on a north south axis, the kiln intrudes into it at the south end.The farmbuilding projects west from the barn to the south.Exterior:The barn roof is hipped at the north end with a porch on the east side.Oast kiln with a conical roof (cowl missing),attached farmbuilding with a gable-ended roof.Interior:Five-bay barn with a tie-beam and queen strut roof with clasped purlins and intermediate birdsmouth ties at collar level.Interior of farmbuilding not inspected. Group value with Selbys (q.v.) which is in separate ownership.
