EAST MALLING & LARKFIELD HIGH STREET TQ 75 NW (west side) 8/157 Nos 24 & 26 (formerly listed 1.7.80 as Warwick House)

Farmhouse, now house. C16 with C17 and C19 alterations. Timber-framed with incised rendered elevations and plain tiled roofs. Return gabled wing with barge-boards off-centre to right. Chimney stack on projecting breast to left of front. Stack at junction of return wing with spinal ridge. 2 storeys; irregular fenestration of 1 window on both floors to right and left gable, except to left with 2 windows on ground-floor. Canted bay on ground-floor to right. All casements except single sash on 1st floor of gabled projection. Early C20 shop front with arched lights either side of panelled door (No 24) on ground floor of gabled projection. Small lean-to porch with half-glazed door to right of gabled projection. C17 range to rear of No 24 with exposed framing and brick infilling on 1st floor.
