GV II

House, now house and shop. Circa 1880. Random rubble with dressed stone quoins on ground floor and mock timber-framing with plaster infilling on 1st floor. Very long curved braces. Plain tiled roof with return gable on slight projec- tion to left of centre. Tall stock brick stacks in centre of ridge and at right; gabled dormer to right. 2 storeys with attics; jettied out on 1st floor under gable with moulded bressummers resting on moulded dragon-brackets. 2-window front with cast-iron diamond lattice casements, in 2nd floor of gable in square oriel on 2 carved brackets and on ground floor to right in hexagonal bay. Central pointed arched entrance with wooden surround and boarded and ribbed door.
