Manor House. C16 and C17 with C19 and C20 additions. Entrance front: C17 timber frame, clad in C19 red brick with plain tile hipped roof and stack to left. 2 storeys, regular fenestration of 3 windows. C19 margin light sash, on first floor, with C20 porch set between C20 bay windows on ground floor. Internal evidence shows this to be a late C17 lobby-entry wing, the now blocked entry to left of C20 bay window in front of the stack, added to an earlier close-studded structure which now forms the right hand bay, the whole now covered in one roof and one regular facade added in C19, originally with 2 projecting wings, now demolished. Right side elevation: timber framed and clad in brick, plain tile roof. 2 storeys on brick and ragstone plinth, with plat band, hipped roof and 2 end stacks. The left hand bay is covered by the higher roof of the entrance front. Internal evidence shows this bay to be of a different separate build from the rest of this facade, and has a C16 stair newell exposed in garret. Rear elevations are C18 and C19, and include a mid C19 school-house,weather boarded with plain tile roof. 1 storey, 4 windows.
