School, late C19, possibly by Douglas. Sandstone rubble with slate roof. Single storey. South side has two projections, the right-hand one gabled, the left-hand one smaller and with a hipped roof. Windows have lights with elliptical heads. To the right of the right-hand projection is one of eight lights, with mullions and transom. To the left there is a similar window. Its front wall has two two-light mullioned windows. The left-hand projection has a two-light mullioned window. There is a door with chamfered surround in its right-hand return wall. The right-hand projection has similar doorways in both return walls. The main building has a stone bellcote on its right-hand gable and a chimney with twin octagonal shafts on its left-hand one. The left-hand (west) gable wall has a stepped eight-light mullioned and transomed window with pointed heads to the upper lights.
