- Barn south of Brookhouse Old Hall

Barn and stables, probably C18th and c.1800, Sandstone rubble with slate roof. Main barn abuts rear wing of Brookhouse Old Hall (q.v.) at its northern end. Towards the south of a stable wing projects eastwards, with a gabled east wall. The west wall of the main barn has a wide entrance with plain reveals and segmental arch. To its left are later additions. To its right is the wider shippon end. The east wall of the barn has a similar wide entrance. The gable of the projecting wing has openings with plain stone surrounds. On the ground floor are 2 windows with a doorway between them. Above are 3 circular pitching holes, the outer ones smaller and blocked. Under the apex is a lunette filled with pigeon holes. The gable has a coping with kneelers.
