Barn, Cl7. Hand made brick, roof of corrugated sheet and old green slates at front and stone slates at rear. Small 2-light brick mullion breathers at 1st floor level in front and rear walls, and on 2 levels in the gable. Broad rectangular plan, 2 units, the 2nd projecting to the rear; left part has wagon entrance porch with recessed wooden doors, right part is lofted with cattle stalls below, an original doorway to these in the centre of the gable wall (front end of gable wall has been repaired and now has 2 vertically aligned doorways), and rear of this part has 2 stable doors. Interior: roof of 4 bays, with brick partition wall between the 2 parts; left part has collar truss with angle struts from tie-beam to principals, 3 pairs of purlins mostly with windbraces; right part (loft) has middle cruck truss with kingpost, 4 pairs of purlins and some little windbraces.
