Details
BALDERSTONE SD 63 SW 4/2 Sundial south of Church of - St.Leonard GV II Sundial, possibly early C19, re-erected early C20. Sandstone with brass gnomon and limestone columns. 5 columns with caps and bases, on a base of octagonal plan, support a face of circular plan. Around its raised rim is inscribed: 'This ancient sundial is re-erected by his friends and parishioners in memory of the Rev. J. Arthur Rushton M.A. vicar of this parish from 1897 to 1907.'
