11/120 Cold Coats Farmhouse - - II

House, c.1800 with remains of c.1600. Sandstone rubble with steep slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows to outer bays tripartite with plain reveals and re-used hollow-chamfered mullions. The central 1st floor window has plain reveals. The single-storey gabled porch, in the central bay, appears to be of late C19th date and has sashed windows with plain reveals, and a door with plain stone surround in its left-hand return wall. Gable chimneys. The left-hand (north) gable has a wide hoodmould over a blocked window. 2 lights remain exposed and have an inner hollow chamfer, an outer chamfer, and segmental heads to the lights. On the 1st floor is a hoodmould over a blocked window, with a one-light chamfered window to its left. At the rear is a stair window with plain reveals and one transom. At the left on the 1st floor is a one-light chamfered window. Interior not accessible at time of survey, but said to have no features of interest.
