SD 827 489 12/58 Tunnel Entrance approximately 70 metres - east of Mill Lane in Gisburne Park
GV II
Entrance to railway tunnel, 1880. Sandstone. Entrance, with segmental arch, flanked by octagonal turrets with loopholes and with embattled parapets carried on corbels. At the outer sides of the facade are 2 similar turrets. All are linked by a wall with a corbel table supporting battlements. The other entrance in item 4/57 (q.v.).
