8/6 Rose Cottage and Farm building adjoining to north-west

House, probably c.1800. Sandstone rubble with blue slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Windows have plain stone surrounds and are of 2 lights with square mullions, except for the right-hand ground-floor window which has no mullion. The door, between the 1st and 2nd bays, has a plain stone surround. Chimney at the left and between the 2nd and 3rd bays. Adjoining to the left is an agricultural building having a window with plain reveals on the ground floor, with a wide entrance with plain reveals to its right, and a 1st floor pitching hole with plain reveals.
