ECCLESTON PARR LANE SD 51 NW 9/98 Former cowhouse c.30 metres west - of Parr Hall GV II
Cowhouse, now shop. Early C18, altered and extended in C19. Handmade brick on plinth of sandstone blocks, corrugated sheet roof. Rectangular 2-bay plan, with added 3rd bay. Saw-tooth band copied on 3rd bay; on east side, 3 segmental-headed doorways at ground floor (centre and left altered as windows), blocked loading door above; on west side, 3 segmental-headed windows, at ground floor, slit breathers above. Interior: principal rafter roof truss with angle struts.
