5/13 Barn c. 5 metres south east of 17.4.1967 Bolton Green Farmhouse (Formerly listed as Old Barn at Bolton GV II Green Farmhouse)

Barn, probably C17, converted to hall about 1950. Coursed sandstone rubble, stone slate roof. Rectangular, 3 bays with aisle on south side; adjoins other altered former farm buildings on north side. Plinth; aisle wall has blocked ventilation slits on 2 levels with stone heads; left gable wall has 2 doorways (one blocked) and there is one 3-light flush mullion window at 1st floor level of aisle at each end; otherwise all openings altered.

Interior: 2 kingpost roof trusses with fishbone struts; tie beams to aisles now relocated as struts; modern "gothic" fireplace in north wall.
