Stump Cross on north side of road at SD 878 300

"Cross", one of 5 guidestones which formerly marked the line of the
Long Causeway. Probably late medieval. Stone. Large roughly-hewn upright
set against later dry stone wall, the relatively smooth front face crudely
inscribed STUMP near the bottom.
