3/39 Nos. 11, 13 and 15 17.12.1968 - II

Block of 6 back-to-back cottages, now 2 shops and one cottage. C18, altered. Coursed sandstone, slate roof. Double depth, each one bay. Two storeys; vertical joint between No.13 and No.ll to the right (which is probably an early addition); Nos. 13 and 15 have doorways offset to the right, with plain surrounds and primitive slab "pediments" of steep pitch, shop windows at ground floor; No.11 has doorway to left, large altered rectangular window at ground floor; all have 2 square windows at 1st floor all with altered glazing except that on the left of No.13 which has a flush mullion and 2 narrow sashed lights. Gable chimneys and 2 ridge chimneys. Rear: No.ll is slightly canted; each has a large 2-light flush mullion window at ground floor, 2 square windows above (altered); each has a door, that at No.13 with a "pediment" like those at the front. Interior: some chamfered beams; otherwise, altered.
