Farmhouse. Probably later C17; altered. Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof. 2-bay farmhouse with former baffle-entry to left. Two storeys. Plain doorway in line with ridge chimney, windows either altered or inserted (one large and 2 small at ground floor, 2 at 1st floor). Gable wall and rear have similarly altered or inserted windows, rear has single- storey extension. Interior: timber-framed partition to service end incorporating 2 doorways in pegged frames which have cambered heads and chamfered surrounds, one with a studded plank door; at 1st floor 2 large kingpost roof trusses, the exposed tie-beams having 5 or 6 pegholes for the principals,carpenters marks, and some taper burns; large chamfered purlins. Otherwise altered; former inglenook removed, lateral partition inserted. Formerly known as Jack Hey Farm.

Farmhouse and integral barn. Probably later C17; altered, Coursed squared sandstone with quoins, stone slate roof. Very long range; 2-bay farmhouse with former baffle-entry close to junction with barn, 5-bay barn continued to south, and projecting shippon at south end of this. Two-storey house has plain doorway in line with ridge chimney, windows either altered or inserted (one large and 2 small at ground floor, 2 at 1st floor). Gable wall and rear have similarly altered or inserted windows, rear has single-storey extension. Barn has opposed sliding doors to the centre; rear wall appears to have been rebuilt, slightly set back from junction with house. Interior of house: timber-framed partition to service end incorporating 2 doorways in pegged frames which have cambered heads and chamfered surrounds, one with a studded plank door; at 1st floor 2 large kingpost roof trusses, the exposed tie-beams having 5 or 6 pegholes for the principals, carpenters marks, and some taper burns; large chamfered purlins. Otherwise altered; former inglenook removed, lateral partition inserted. Formerly known as Jack Hey Farm.
