Oast-House and wall 20 yds to the north-east of Bartons Farmhouse GV II

Oast-house. Late C19, now converted for habitation. Ground floor mixture of random rubble with red brick dressings and red brick. Three roundels to north of random rubble. First floor of granary to east red brick. Two half-hipped gables, that to right tile-hung, that to left creosoted weatherboarding. Plain tiled roofs throughout. Two wide casements on first floor to left, one small and one wide to right. Open ground floor to left with bressumer supported in centre on wooden post. Garage doors of wood to right. Three windows on first floor of granary to east. Three roundels topped by cowls and wind-vanes. East wall forms part of wall of farmyard, coursed galletted rubble stone. Walls curves in quadrant to central entrance. Included for group value only.
