Methodist Manse, later C19. Rock-faced sandstone with dressed bands and carved dressings, steeply-pitched 2-span slate roof with various tall chimney stacks. Roughly square plan, 3 bays, the 3rd bay built as projecting gabled crosswing. Two and a half storeys, in Gothic style; single-storey gabled porch in re-entrant has moulded arch with shafts which have heavily foliated carved caps; to left a 3-light sashed window with arched heads to the lights and shafts with carved caps, a coupled sashed window above, and a gabled attic dormer with a small window of 2 arched lights; to the right, a canted ground floor bay window with a centre shaft, machicolated cornice, and sashes, a coupled sashed window with arched heads at 1st floor, and in the gable an attic window like that in the dormer. Right return wall has gabled centre bay breaking forwards slightly, openings like those in front gable. Included for group value with Methodist Church (q.v.).
