WRIGHTINGTON CHURCH LANE (off) SD 51 SW 5/93 North Tunley Farmhouse 22-2-1967 GV II

House. C17, altered C20. Brick with sandstone dressings and artificial stone roof. Lobby-entry plan with cross-wing at left (west). 2 storeys. Facade mostly rendered. Windows are C20 casements in enlarged openings with plain reveals, except for the 1st floor window of the porch, which is double-chamfered, of 2 lights with mullion and hood. To each side of the porch is one bay. The cross-wing is also of one bay. The right-hand bay is of exposed brick and has no window on the 1st floor. The outer porch doorway has a chamfered stone surround with canted head. The inner doorway is studded and has strap hinges. Chimneys to left of cross-wing and in line with porch. Interior: room to left of porch has ceiling beams with quarter-round mouldings and a firehood bressumer.
